TRADING UPDATE FOR THE YEAR ENDED 29 FEBRUARY 2008 AND RENEWAL OF CAUTIONARY
ANNOUNCEMENT
In terms of paragraph 3.4(b)(i)-(vi) of the JSE Limited`s Listings Requirements,
listed companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they
become reasonably certain that the financial results for the next period to be
reported on will be more than 20% different from those published for the
previous corresponding period or from a profit forecast previously provided to
the market in relation to such period.
The headline loss per share is expected to improve by between 20% and 40%
compared to the prior year`s headline loss per share. The operating loss per
share is expected to reflect an adverse movement of between 490% and 510%
compared to the prior year`s operating loss per share.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has been
reviewed, but not yet signed off by the company`s auditors.
Further to the detailed cautionary announcement dated 14 April 2008,
shareholders are advised that negotiations with Pinnacle Point holdings limited
are still in process which, if successfully concluded may have a material effect
on the price at which the company`s securities trade on the JSE Limited.
Shareholders are advised to continue to exercise caution when dealing in the
company`s securities until a full announcement is made.
