UPDATED SALIENT DATES IN RESPECT OF THE PROPOSED 15% BLACK ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT
TRANSACTION ("BEE Transaction")
Further to the announcement released on SENS on 19 March 2008 and published in
the press on 20 March 2008 relating to the BEE transaction, City Lodge
shareholders are referred to the salient dates and times as set out in that
announcement and are advised that the salient dates and times have changed.
The updated salient dates and times in respect of the BEE transaction and the
scheme are set out below:
Scheme circular posted on Wednesday, 4 June
Last day to trade in City Lodge shares in
order to be recorded in the register of City Friday, 13 June
Lodge shareholders to vote at the scheme
meeting on

The above important dates and times in relation to the scheme meeting and
general meeting are subject to change. Any changes will be released on SENS and
published in the press.
