ACQUISITIONS OF OPTOCON SYSTEMS (PTY) LIMITED AND EMERGING SIGNALS (PTY) LIMITED
UNCONDITIONAL
Shareholders are referred to the announcements dated 26 November 2007 and 9
January 2008, in terms of which Ansys announced the purchase of all the issued
shares in and claims on loan account against Optocon Systems (Pty) Limited
("Optocon acquisition") and the purchase of the business, as a going concern,
from Emerging Signals (Pty) Limited ("Emerging Signals acquisition").
The outstanding conditions precedent to both these acquisitions have been
fulfilled.
Accordingly the board of Ansys announces that both the Optocon acquisition and
the Emerging Signals acquisition are now unconditional in all respects.
