RESULTS OF GENERAL MEETING AND APPROVAL OF CHANGE OF NAME
Shareholders are advised that, at the general meeting of the company convened on
Thursday, 22 May 2008 in terms of the notice of general meeting contained in the
Simeka circular to shareholders issued on 30 April 2008, the ordinary and
special resolutions were passed by the requisite majority of Simeka
shareholders.
The special resolution relating to the change of the company name to Simeka
Business Group Limited will be lodged with the Companies and Intellectual
Property Registration Office for registration.
SALIENT DATES IN RESPECT OF THE CHANGE OF NAME
Last day to trade under the name Friday, 6 June

Record date Friday, 13 June
Any changes to these salient dates will be announced on SENS.
The change of name will not result in a change to the company`s JSE code, ISIN
number and short name.
