DECLARED SPECIAL DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON HIGHVELD STEEL AND VANADIUM
CORPORATION LIMITED ENHANCED DIVIDEND SECURITIES - ("HVLIDC")
With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of Highveld Steel and
Vanadium Corporation Limited have declared a special dividend of 1 800 cents per
ordinary share payable on Tuesday, 17 June 2008, to ordinary shareholders
recorded in the books of the company at the close of business on Friday, 13 June
2008.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities, HVLIDC,
will receive a Highveld Steel and Vanadium Corporation Limited special dividend
of 1 800 cents per ordinary share payable on Tuesday, 17 June 2008, in terms of
the Cession clause incorporated in the Supplement between the holders and
Investec Bank Limited. The last day to trade ("cum" the special dividend) in
order to participate in the special dividend will be Friday, 6 June 2008.
HVLIDC Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" special dividend
from the commencement of business on Monday, 9 June 2008 and the record date
will be Friday, 13 June 2008.
