NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF DIRECTORS, PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL
RESPONSIBILITIES OR CONNECTED PERSONS IN ACCORDANCE WITH RULE 3.1.4R OF THE

Old Mutual plc (the Company) announces the following changes in listed
subsidiary share interests of a PDMR.
Release of matching shares under the Nedbank Group Limited 2005 Matched Share
Scheme
Following the successful achievement of Nedbank Group Limited performance
targets and the holding of Nedbank Group Limited shares for a designated three
year period by Mr T A Boardman, Chief Executive of Nedbank Group Limited, a
matching award of 15,098 restricted shares, originally granted on 2 June 2005
under the 2005 Matched Share Scheme, were released to Mr Boardman on 3 June
2008.
The total number of Nedbank Group Limited shares held by Mr Boardman under
option under the Nedcor Group (1994) Employee Incentive Scheme and the Nedbank
Group (2005) Share Option, Matched Share and Restricted Share Scheme is 543,965,
of which 251,200 have vested. The total number of restricted shares held by Mr
Boardman under the 2005 Matched Share Scheme is now 30,000 and the total number
of restricted shares held by Mr Boardman under the Nedbank Group (2005) Share
Option, Matched Share and Restricted Share Scheme is 60,167.
Mr Boardman also holds 73,936 Nedbank Group Limited Ordinary shares and 85,000
Nedbank Limited preference shares.
