REGULATORY ANNOUNCEMENT
Johannesburg, 5 June 2008. In accordance with the Financial Services Authority`s
Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the Company advises that its issued share
capital comprises 403,216,720 ordinary shares at R0,50 each. The voting rights
of all of these shares are identical with each share carrying the right to one
vote. The Company holds no ordinary shares in Treasury.
The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interests in, or a change to their interest in Harmony Gold Mining Company
Limited under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
