Shareholders are advised that all of the special and ordinary resolutions
proposed in the notice to shareholders dated 10 March 2008, were passed by the
requisite majority at the Annual General Meeting of Sanlam Limited held at 14:00
on Wednesday, 4 June 2008.
The special resolution will be lodged with the Companies and Intellectual
Property Registration Office for registration.
