TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings requirement of the JSE Limited ("JSE"), companies are
required to publish a trading statement as soon as they become reasonably
certain that the financial results for the period to be reported on next will be
different from the previous corresponding period.
Accordingly, shareholders are advised that the results for the year ended
29 February 2008 ("the reporting period") have shown an increase when
compared to the previous corresponding period. Consequently, headline
earnings (excluding delayed profits on the sale of fixed property) are
expected to be between 70% and 90% lower (taking into account the delayed
profits headline earnings would be between 20% and 40% lower) while earnings per
share are expected to be between 20% and 30% higher than those achieved in the
previous corresponding period.
Net asset value is expected to be between 40% and 60% higher than that reported
for the previous financial year end.
The above information has been reviewed by the company`s auditors. The company`s
reviewed results for the year ended 29 February 2008 are expected to be
published by no later than 13 June 2008.
