APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO THE BOARD
In compliance with rule 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
the following information is disclosed:
The directors of Omnia are very pleased to advise that, with effect from 13 June
2008 Ms Hester Hickey has been appointed as an independent non-executive
director of the Board and a member of the Audit Committee. Ms Hickey is a
registered chartered accountant and is the Chairman of the Board of the South
African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA). Until recently, she served
as Executive Officer: Head of Risk at AngloGold Ashanti, and thus brings with
her a high level of business expertise coupled with her financial, risk and
auditing experience. Her experience will contribute significantly to the Board.
