TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, a listed company is
required to publish a trading statement as soon as it becomes aware that the
financial results for the next period to be reported on will show a 20% or more
difference from those of the previous corresponding period.
KAP hereby advises that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that, for the
year ended 30 June 2008, headline earnings per share and earnings per share will
be between 20% and 25% lower than that for the previous corresponding period.
Shareholders are advised that the aforesaid includes that fact that the company
is in the process of finalising an agreement with SARS on an outstanding tax
query, which is expected to result in a very low tax rate for the financial
period under review.
This financial information has not been reviewed and reported on by the auditors
of KAP. The results for the year ended 30 June 2008 are expected to be published
on or about 5 September 2008.
