TRADING STATEMENT
Fairvest linked unitholders are advised that it is expected that the results
of Fairvest for the financial year ended 31 March 2008 will reflect the
following improvements compared to those for the previous corresponding
period:
an increase in respect of headline earnings per linked unit to between 28 to
30,5 cents per linked unit; and
an increase in net asset value and net tangible asset value per linked unit to
between 129 to 147 cents per linked unit.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not
been reviewed or reported on by the issuer`s auditors either in accordance
with paragraph 3.4(b)(vi)1(aa) or paragraph 3.4(b)(vi)(1)(bb) of the JSE
Listings Requirements. It is expected that the review report of Fairvest, in
respect of the financial year ended 31 March 2008, will be available for
inspection at the offices of the company at 9th Floor, Protea Hotel, corner of
Lighthouse Road and Chartwell Drive, Umhlanga Rocks, Durban, from Friday, 27
June 2008. On the same day, the corresponding abridged results are expected to
be announced on Sens and posted to shareholders.
