TRADING STATEMENT
In accordance with paragraph 3.4 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, a listed company is required to publish a TRADING STATEMENT as soon as
it becomes aware, with a reasonable degree of certainty, that the financial
results for the next period to be reported on are likely to vary by more than
20% from the previous corresponding period.
Nictus is currently finalising its results for the year ended 31 March 2008. In
this regard, shareholders are advised that the headline earnings per share and
the earnings per share of Nictus for the year ended 31 March 2008 are expected
to be 13.02 cents and 12.96 cents respectively. In comparison to headline
earnings per share and earnings per share of 4.86 cents and 12.63 cents
respectively of the previous corresponding period being the year ended 31 March
2007.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has been
reviewed and reported on by the group`s auditors.
The results for the year ended 31 March 2008 are expected to be released on 30
June 2008.
