CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited,
the board of directors of RACEC hereby notifies its shareholders that Mrs Bonita
Petersen has been appointed as a non-executive director with effect from 1
August 2008.
Bonita is a chartered accountant who completed her articles with
PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in 1996, thereafter gaining further experience
within PwC`s Business Services and Public Sector divisions. She joined
Metropolitan Life in 1999 where she has held various positions in the internal
audit and group risk management departments. She is currently the Chief Internal
Auditor at Metropolitan. Bonita is also a Trustee of the Metropolitan Medical
Scheme and serves on SAICA`s Training and Education Committee.
