DECLARED FINAL DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON SABMILLER PLC - HOT ENHANCED
DISTRIBUTION SECURITIES ("EDS") - ("SABIHC")
With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of SABMiller plc have
declared an final dividend of 334.03350 SA cents per ordinary share based on an
exchange rate of US$:R = R7.9531786 payable on Thursday, 7 August 2008 to
ordinary shareholders, recorded in the books of the company at the close of
business on Friday, 11 July 2008.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Hot Enhanced Distribution Securities,
SABIHC, will receive a SABMiller plc final dividend of 334.03350 SA cents per
security payable on Thursday, 7 August 2008 in terms of the Cession clause
incorporated in the Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited.
The last day to trade ("cum" the dividend) in order to participate in the
dividend will be Friday, 4 July 2008.
SABIHC Hot Enhanced Distribution Securities will commence trading "ex" the
dividend from the commencement of business on Monday, 7 July 2008, and the
record date will be Friday, 11 July 2008.
