DECLARED DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT ON SATRIX 40 HOT ENHANCED DISTRIBUTION

With reference to the distribution announcement, the Managers and Trustees of
SATRIX 40 (STX40) have declared a distribution of 11.80 cents per Satrix 40
security constituted by 9.52 cents in respect of dividends and 2.28 cents in
respect of other income per ordinary share to ordinary shareholders, recorded in
the books of the company at the close of business on Friday, 4 July 2008.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Hot Enhanced Distribution Securities,
STXIHB, will receive a SATRIX 40 distribution of 11.80 cents per security
constituted by 9.52 cents in respect of dividends and 2.28 cents in respect of
other income per ordinary share to ordinary shareholders on Friday, 11 July
2008, in terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the Supplement between the
holders and Investec Bank Limited. The last day to trade ("cum" the
distribution) in order to participate in the distribution will be Friday, 27
June 2008.
STXIHB Hot Enhanced Distribution Securities will commence trading "ex" the
distribution from the commencement of business on Monday, 30 June 2008, and the
record date will be Friday, 4 July 2008.
