Trading update
In terms of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, companies are required to
publish a trading statement as soon as they become reasonably certain that the
financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by more than 20%
from that of the previous corresponding period. O-line`s financial year end is
30 June 2008.
Shareholders are advised that the earnings per share and headline earnings per
share are expected to be between 35% and 50% better than the previous
corresponding period.
Trading conditions have been extremely difficult due to power supply shortages
and other macro economic factors. However, O-line`s focus on the international
market in partnership with leading international and South African consulting
engineers and construction companies has paid off.
Prospects
O-line stands to benefit from the continued spending within the power, mining
and petro-chemical sectors both locally and abroad. The focus will remain on the
export market.
