TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited relating to trading
statements, a listed company is required to publish a trading statement as soon
as it becomes aware that the financial results for the next period to be
reported on will differ by at least 20% or more from those of the previous
corresponding period.
Kingco is expecting both the losses and headline losses per share to be
approximately 24.7c for the 12 months ended 28 February 2008 compared to
earnings and headline earnings of 6.9c per share for the prior comparable
period. This represents a difference that is greater than 20%.
The financial information, on which this trading statement is based, has been
prepared in accordance with ISAE 3400/3000 in respect of the year end results to
28 February 2008. The unaudited financial results which have been reviewed by
Lucro Auditing will be available for inspection at the offices of the company at
Kingco Park, 97 Milner Street, Kensington B, Randburg, 2194. The reviewed year
end results are expected to be announced later today.
