Results of Annual General Meeting ("AGM")
Shareholders are advised that, at the AGM of Gold Reef held in Johannesburg on
Friday, 27 June 2008, all the resolutions were passed by the requisite majority
of shareholders present and represented by proxy without modification save for
Ordinary Resolution 13. Ordinary resolution 13 was modified in the second line
by the inclusion of the words "at par" after "Gold Reef shares", and although
passed by the requisite majority of shareholders at the AGM, did not meet all
the provisions of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements. Further to this, the
provisions of Ordinary Resolution 13 will not be implemented by Gold Reef.
