SUCCESSFUL AWARD OF NEW CONTRACTS TO ACTOWERS
The directors of ACTOWERS are pleased to announce that new contracts of
approximately R170 million were awarded to ACTOWERS, pioneers in the
construction of cellular towers and shelters in Africa, during the month of June
2008, alone. These new contracts relate only to the cellular tower division of
ACTOWERS. Approximately 82% of these contracts relate to the supply of towers
and the balance of 18% to the installation of these towers. The supply of these
contracts will be manufactured and delivered over a 6 month period and the
majority of these contracts were secured by the company from large cellular
operators, who are new clients for ACTOWERS. A substantial part of these
contracts are also situated in new geographical areas for ACTOWERS.
