Ruashi Mine Concentrator resumes normal operations
Metorex wishes to confirm that normal operations have recommenced at the
company`s Ruashi plant after a contained and brief fire broke out in a reagent
tank on Monday night 30 June.
On Tuesday 1 July 2008 it was announced that normal operations were expected to
recommence in five to seven days. This has happened somewhat sooner within two
days.
Additionally, the company confirms that no injuries were sustained, no damage
was incurred to the mills, float cells, thickener and filter press and that
there was no impact on the Copper Electrowinning Operations (Ruashi Phase II).
