CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited,
the board of directors of Country Foods is pleased to announce the appointment
of Mr James Hugh Anderson (LLB, CA) as an independent non-executive director,
and Chairman of the Audit Committee, with effect from Friday, 4 July 2008. A
brief CV of Mr James Anderson is set out below.
James studied at Aberdeen University where he obtained a LLB, and then at
Glasgow University where he obtained the Institute of Chartered Accountants
qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. James
has been retained by several companies to advise on strategies and structures
for BEE transactions. He is an experienced corporate financier and is
currently the Chairman of the Audit Committee of PSV Holdings Limited.
