ABSA GROUP AND ABSA BANK: NOTIFICATION OF RELEASE OF INTERIM FINANCIAL RESULTS
FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 30 JUNE 2008
The interim financial results of Absa Group and Absa Bank for the six months
ended 30 June 2008 will be released on SENS and placed on Absa`s website
(www.absa.co.za) on the morning of Thursday 7 August, 2008. A presentation of
the Group`s results will be made in Johannesburg at 11:30 a.m. (South African
time). The presentation will also be broadcast live on Summit TV (DSTV channel
412). Webcast and conference call facilities will be available for the
presentation and the details thereof will be published on the Absa website prior
to the presentation.
