SABMiller announces publication of prospectus

SABMiller plc (the "Company") has today submitted to the Financial Services
Authority a prospectus relating to its new issue of bonds and debt refinancing
which was announced earlier today.
SABMiller expects the new SABMiller bonds to be admitted to the Official List of
the UK Listing Authority and for trading to commence on the Regulated Market of
the London Stock Exchange on 17 July 2008.
The prospectus will shortly be available for inspection at the Financial
Services Authority`s Document Viewing Facility, which is situated at:
