DIVIDEND DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE RCH SHARE INSTALMENT
Notice is hereby given of the dividend amount payable for
RICHEMONT SECURITIES AG and that as a result of the dividend
declaration relating to RICHEMONT SECURITIES AG (RCH) the Trustees of
the Share Instalment Trust have declared a dividend amount of 7.8 euro
cents per RCHNIE share instalment that is payable on Friday, 26
September 2008.
The exchange rate will be announced on Friday, 5 September 2008.
The dividend is made up by 7.2 euro cents paid by Richemont SA
and 0.60 cents paid by Compagnie Financiere Richmont SA (CFR). The
dividend paid by CFR will be subject to 35 per cent Swiss Witholding
Tax resulting in a net dividend of 7.59 euro cents per instalment.
The last day to trade cum dividend is Friday, 12 September 2008.
The share instalment will commence trading ex dividend from Monday, 15
September 2008 and the record date will be Friday, 19 September 2008.
