DIRECTORS DEALINGS
African Eagle Resources plc ("African Eagle", "AFE" or "the Company", ticker
AIM: AFE, AltX: AEA) has been notified that the following Directors have
purchased ordinary shares in the Company: Mr Euan Worthington, Deputy Chairman,
notified the Company on 23 July that he had purchased 450,000 ordinary shares at
an average price of 5.16 pence per share; Mr Geoffrey Cooper, Non-Executive
Director, notified the Company on 22 July that he had purchased 120,000 ordinary
shares at a price of 5.15 pence per share; and Mr Bevan Metcalf, Finance
Director, notified the Company today that he had purchased 60,000 ordinary
shares in the Company at a price of 5.23 pence per share.
Accordingly the beneficial interest of these Directors in the share capital of
the Company is as follows: Mr Worthington holds 810,000 ordinary shares
representing approximately 0.38 per cent. of the issued share capital; Mr Cooper
holds 789,300 ordinary shares representing approximately 0.37 per cent. of the
issued share capital; and Mr Metcalf holds 70,000 ordinary shares representing
approximately 0.03 per cent. of the issued share capital.

About African Eagle
African Eagle is a diversified mineral exploration and development company
operating in eastern and central Africa. The Company`s principal advanced
projects are the Mkushi Copper Mines project in Zambia, for which a Feasibility
Study will be completed in Q4 2008, and the Miyabi gold project in Tanzania, at
