Postponement of listing
Lesego Platinum`s abridged prospectus, released on SENS on Monday 14 July 2008,
ahead of its planned listing on the main board of the JSE Limited later this
month, refers.
Against the background of recent volatility in financial markets, and the
prevailing negative sentiment in the Platinum Group Metals resource sector,
Lesego Platinum and its controlling shareholders advise that it has resolved to
postpone its listing until such time as market conditions are more favourable.
Although there were significant levels of interest in support of the Company`s
Phosiri project, the Company has decided, in co-operation with the controlling
shareholders, to progress the project through alternative funding mechanisms in
the short term.
