CHANGE IN DIRECTORATE
Don MacLeod, who has been Managing Director of Illovo since 1992, will be
retiring from this position on 31 March 2009, at the age of 62. He will,
however, remain a member of the board of the company as a non-executive
director, and will assume the role of Deputy Chairman from 1 April 2009.
In line with the company`s succession plan, Graham Clark, who is presently the
Operations Director, has been appointed to succeed Mr MacLeod as Managing
Director on 1 April 2009.
Mr Clark, aged 52, who is a chartered accountant, has extensive operational,
commercial and financial experience in the sugar industry, throughout Africa and
internationally. He joined the sugar industry in 1980 and the Illovo group in
1997 when he was appointed to the board.
