Cautionary announcement
Debenture holders are advised that Lereko Mobility is currently engaged in
negotiations with Imperial Holdings Limited ("Imperial") and Eqstra Holdings
Limited ("Eqstra") which, if successful, will result in the provision of
additional collateral for the benefit of the Debenture Holders and Preference
Shareholders ("the collateral"), the effect of which would be to reduce the
default trigger levels in terms of the debenture trust deed and in terms of the
preference share terms and conditions.
The provision of the collateral would be subject to a number of conditions
including the approval of the respective boards of directors of Imperial, Eqstra
and Lereko Mobility, the debenture trustee and the preference share agent.
Consequently Lereko Mobility Debenture Holders are advised to exercise caution
when dealing in their Lereko Mobility Debentures until a further announcement is
made.
