Trading Statement
South Ocean`s headline earnings per share and earnings per share for the six
months ended 30 June 2008 are expected to be between 20% and 30% higher than for
the previous corresponding period. Headline earnings per share and earnings per
share for the previous corresponding period were 37.4 cents per share.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by South Ocean`s auditors. The results for the six
months ended 30 June 2008 are expected to be published on or about 14 August
2008.
