UPDATED TRADING STATEMENT AND CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
We refer to the trading statement and cautionary announcement dated 27 June 2008
in which shareholders were advised that Seardel had incurred substantial trading
losses in the 12 month period ending 30 June 2008 after providing for
retrenchment and restructure costs.
The company is still not in a position to give the specific guidance required by
the JSE Listings Requirement for a trading statement. Accordingly shareholders
are advised to continue to exercise caution when trading in Seardel shares until
a further announcement is made.
