TRADING STATEMENT
In compliance with paragraph 3.4 of the Listing Requirements of the JSE Limited,
a listed company is required to publish a trading statement as soon as it
becomes aware that the financial results for the next period to be reported on
will differ by at least 20% from those of the previous reported period.
MICROmega wishes to advise shareholders that headline earnings per share for the
6 months ended 30 June 2008 are expected to be between 25% and 30% higher than
the headline earnings per share of 18.81 cents for the 6 months ended 30 June
2007. Earnings per share for the same period are expected to be between 80% and
85% higher than the earnings per share of 20.42 cents for the 6 months ended 30
June 2007
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the group`s auditors. The group`s results for the 6
months ended 30 June 2008, are expected to be published on or around the 19
August 2008.
