TRADING STATEMENT
Distell is currently finalising its results for the twelve months ended 30 June
2008, which should be released on SENS on or about 20 August 2008.
In this regard, shareholders are advised that basic earnings per share will be
approximately 12% higher and headline earnings per share will be approximately
20% higher than that reported in the corresponding reporting period of the
previous year.
This is largely attributable to an improvement in trading income for the year to
30 June 2008.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed and reported on by the Company`s auditors and is disclosed in
accordance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements.
