Changes to the board
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, shareholders are notified that Mr Paul Michiel Bester has been
appointed as an executive director of SELCo with immediate effect.
Mr Bester spent 31 years in the banking industry and holds a Diploma in Bank
Credit Management. During this time he distinguished himself as a leader in
terms of both portfolios held and awards garnered. He joined Rural Maintenance
as Head of Revenue in October 2005 and was appointed to the Board of Directors
in October 2007. In July 2008 he was appointed to the REMIG Group Board of
Directors as well. His portfolio is Group Revenue and as such he has overhead
responsibility for SELCo Revenue. Mr Bester`s expertise in revenue management
is certain to stand the company in good stead and the company welcomes him to
the board.
