GEN - KWV Limited - Media release: improved KWV Ltd earnings expected
MEDIA RELEASE
IMPROVED KWV LTD EARNINGS EXPECTED
KWV Limited has today announced to its shareholders that for the year ended 30
June 2008, the basic earnings per share is expected to be between 110% and 125%
and headline earnings per share between 65% and 75% higher than the 27,1 cents
per share recorded in the comparative year ended 30 June 2007.
The increase is largely attributable to significant re-organisation of the KWV
group structure and to significantly improved trading performance in several
markets.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the company`s auditors. KWV`s final results are
expected to be released on 11 September 2008 and the company`s Annual General
Meeting will take place on Wednesday 22 October 2008.
