CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Mr Alan Greenstein, Managing Director of Sasfin Holdings Limited and Sasfin Bank
Limited and Chief Executive Officer of Sasfin Securities (Pty) Limited ("the
Group"), will be relocating to Australia early in January 2009. He will remain
at Sasfin on a full-time basis until mid-December 2008 to ensure a smooth
handover of his current executive functions and responsibilities.
It is intended that Mr Greenstein will maintain an involvement with the Group on
several specific projects.
The Board has tasked a sub-committee to identify and appoint a suitable
candidate to head the Group`s Wealth Management division.
In accordance with South African Reserve Bank regulations, Messrs Roland
Sassoon, Group Chief Executive Officer, and Malcolm Segal, Executive Director,
will comply with the "four-eyes" principle. Consequential changes will be made
to various board sub-committees and divisional management structures.
The directors and staff of Sasfin wish Mr Greenstein and his family well in
their relocation.
