DIVIDEND DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE BIL SHARE INSTALMENT
Notice is hereby given of the dividend amount payable for BHP BILLITON PLC and
that as a result of the dividend declaration relating to BHP BILLITON PLC (BIL)
the Trustees of the Share Instalment Trust have declared a dividend amount
of 321.14214 cents per BILNIE share instalment that is payable on Thursday, 25
September 2008. The payment will be rounded to two decimal places.
The last day to trade cum dividend is Friday, 29 August 2008. The Share
Instalment will commence trading ex dividend from Monday, 1 September 2008, the
record date will be Friday, 5 September 2008.
