Interest Rate announcement in relation to the Retail Deposit Note SBR002 for the
Interest Period 17 June 2008 up to but excluding 15 September 2008.
The coupon rate and amount reflected below and in the SENS announcement dated 22
August 2008 take precedence over the rate and amount reflected in the SENS
announcement dated 17 June 2008 in relation to interest on the SBR002 note.
The Interest Rate, being the three-month JIBAR rate plus 0.15%, in relation to
the Retail Deposit Note SBR002 for the Interest Period 17 June 2008 up to but
excluding 15 September 2008 has been set at 12.379% which equates to 306c per
R100 unit.
