Result Of The General Meeting
Shareholders are advised that, at the company`s annual general meeting held
today, Messrs S E Funde and Q E Woods retired from the board of the company with
immediate effect.
The board wishes to thank Messrs Funde and Woods for their contribution and
assistance and wishes them well for the future. In particular, the board
congratulates Mr Funde with his recent appointment as South Africa`s ambassador
to Germany.
All resolutions as set out in the notice of annual general meeting, save for
resolution numbers 11 and 12 relating to the control of authorized but unissued
shares and a general authority for directors to issue shares for cash, were
passed by the requisite number of shareholders present and voting, in person or
by proxy, at the annual general meeting.
The special resolution relating to the repurchase of the company`s shares will
be submitted to CIPRO for registration in due course.
