Changes to the Board
Shareholders are advised that Mr Ralph Patmore will retire as Chief Executive
Officer on October 30, 2008 and will be succeeded by Mr Eugene Beneke who will
join the group with effect from 1 November 2008. In order to ensure a smooth
handover, Ralph will continue as a director until December 31, 2008. Ralph has
led the executive team at Iliad for the past eleven years. The board wishes to
thank him for his invaluable contribution to the growth and success of the Group
during this time and wish him well in his retirement.
Mr Beneke is a qualified chartered accountant. He is presently the Managing
Director of the Milling & Baking Division at Tiger Brands, a division with an
annual turnover in excess of R5 billion and the board is confident that he will
contribute to the future growth and development of the group.
