CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited,
the board of directors of Country Foods hereby notifies its shareholders that
Roberto Gilberto Casaletti has resigned as Chief Executive Officer and director
of the company with immediate effect. The directors have identified a possible
replacement to fill this position and an announcement will be made soon.
Furthermore, shareholders are advised that the directors of Country Foods have
begun the process of restructuring the group. The plans for this restructuring
remain subject to further review but include, inter alia, the refinancing of the
group and the resignation of Roberto Gilberto Casaletti.
The restructuring may have a material effect on the price of the company`s
securities. Accordingly, shareholders are advised to exercise caution when
dealing in the company`s securities until a further announcement is made.
