RESULTS OF GENERAL MEETING
The board of directors are pleased to advise shareholders that at the general
meeting of BioScience Brands held on Monday, 01 September 2008, at the
registered office of the company, Arcay House II, Number 3 Anerley Road,
Parktown, Johannesburg, all the resolutions presented in connection with, inter
alia, the restructuring of the company, a specific issue of shares for cash to
selected corporations and individuals, the conclusion of an empowerment
transaction with Thebe Medicare (Proprietary) Limited and the acquisitions of
Bioharmony (Proprietary) Limited and Aldabri 53 (Proprietary) Limited t/a Muscle
Science, as set out in the notice of the general meeting contained in the
circular to shareholders, dated 13 August 2008, were passed by the requisite
majority of shareholders.
The company will apply to the JSE for the lifting of the suspension of trade in
its securities following the release of its audited financial statements for the
16-month period ended 30 June 2008, which annual financial statements are
expected to be released on or before 30 September 2008.
