SALIENT DATES ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE SPECIFIC ISSUE OF SHARES TO NAMF NOMINEES
(PROPRIETARY) LIMITED ("NAMF")
Further to the announcement released by Kiwara on Friday, 29 August 2008
relating to an agreement entered into with NAMF, the terms of which include the
issue to NAMF of 5,000,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each at a strike price of
R3.00 per ordinary share and the grant to NAMF of an option to subscribe for a
further 2,500,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each at a strike price of R4.00 per
ordinary share ("the transaction"), shareholders are advised that a general
meeting will be held on Friday, 19 September 2008 to approve the transaction.
1. General meeting
The general meeting will be held on Friday, 19 September 2008 at 9:00 am
(UK time) at the Pelham Hotel, 15 Cromwell Place, London SW7 2LA, United
Kingdom.
If you are unable to attend the general meeting, but wish to be represented
thereat, you must complete and return the attached form of proxy contained
in the circular which has been posted to shareholders, in accordance with
the instructions contained therein, to be received by Capita Registrars, at
The Registry, 34 Beckenham Road, Beckenham, Kent, BR3 4TU, United Kingdom,
by no later than 9:00 am (UK time), or by Computershare SA at their
registered office at Ground Floor, 70 Marshall Street, Johannesburg, 2001
or PO Box 61051, Marshalltown, 2107 by no later than 10:00 am (SA time) on
Wednesday, 17 September 2008.
