TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited ("JSE"), companies are
required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that a
reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the period
to be reported on will differ by 20% or more from the financial results for the
previous corresponding period.
Shareholders are advised that Sanyati has just completed its trading for the six
months interim period ending 31 August 2008 and expects that both earnings and
headline earnings per share for this period would exceed those for the six
months ended 31 August 2007 by between 40% and 60%. Shareholders are also
advised that the turnover is expected to be between 90 and 110% higher, while
attributable profit will be between 80% and 100% higher than the six months
ended 31 August 2007.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed and reported on by Sanyati`s auditors.
The results for the six months ended 31 August 2008 are expected to be published
on SENS by the beginning of November 2008.
