TRADING STATEMENT
In compliance with paragraph 3.4 of the Listing Requirements of the JSE Limited,
a listed company is required to publish a trading statement as soon as it
becomes aware that the financial results for the next period to be reported on
will differ by at least 20% from those of the previous reported period.
Set Point is pleased to advise shareholders that headline earnings per share
(HEPS) and earnings per share (EPS) for the 12 months ended 31 August 2008 are
expected to be approximately 14 cents per share. For the 12 months ended 31
August 2007, HEPS were 2.5 cents, HEPS from continuing operations were 7,8 cents
and EPS were a loss of 0.1 cent. The expected increase in HEPS from continuing
operations is accordingly 79%.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the Group`s auditors. The Group`s results for the 12
months ended 31 August 2008 are expected to be published on or about the 22
October 2008.
