CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited,
notification is hereby given of the following changes to the Paracon Board of
Directors with effect from 10 September 2008:
Mr Zeth Malele has been appointed as an independent non-executive director. Zeth
has held a number of senior positions in the ICT industry and serves on a number
of public sector committees and task forces. He was the recipient of the ICT
Black Achievers Awards both in 1999 and 2000 and was finalist for the Ernst &
Young South Africa Best Entrepreneur Award in 2002. Zeth`s extensive experience
and knowledge will add value to the Paracon Board.
Mrs Sonja Sebotsa, who had previously represented WDB Investment Holdings
(Proprietary) Limited`s ("WDB") shareholding in Paracon and upon her resignation
from WDB had remained as an independent non-executive director of Paracon, has
resigned. The Board of Directors thanks Sonja for her valuable contribution.
