AUDITED ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 29 FEBRUARY 2008
KCM has unfortunately not met the deadline set by the JSE Limited to post
audited financial statements for the year ended 29 February 2008 before 31
August 2008.
The reason for not producing the audited annual financial statements on time is
due to a subsequent event that took place during the latter part of August 2008
in one of KCM`s subsidiary companies, Channal Mining. The Board of directors
felt that it was prudent to address the impact of this subsequent event in the
financial year ended 29 February 2008. This resulted in adjustments to the
annual financial statements which required additional work by the auditors.
The audited annual financial statements are currently being finalised and will
be posted shortly.
