TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are required
to publish a trading statement as soon as they are reasonably certain that the
financial results for the current reporting period will differ by at least 20%
from the previous corresponding period.
In light of the above, Excellerate expects fully diluted basic earnings per
share and fully diluted headline earnings per share for the twelve months ended
30 June 2008 to be approximately 65% to 85% higher than that of the twelve
months ended 30 June 2007 ("the previous corresponding period").
During the twelve months ended 30 June 2007 the compulsory convertible
debentures were converted into ordinary shares. The timing of the conversion had
an effect on the weighted average number of shares in issue.
Earnings per share and headline earnings per share for the twelve months ended
30 June 2008 are expected to be approximately 45% to 65% higher than that of the
previous corresponding period.
The above information has not been reviewed or reported on by the company`s
auditors and the company`s audited results for the twelve months ended 30 June
2008 are expected to be published on or before 30 September 2008.
