DECLARED DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON IMPERIAL HOLDINGS LIMITED ENHANCED DIVIDEND

With reference to the Dividend announcement, the Directors of Imperial Holdings
Limited have declared a Distribution of 245 cents per ordinary share payable on
Monday, 29 September 2008 to ordinary shareholders as an ordinary dividend of
245 cents per ordinary share, recorded in the books of the company at the close
of business on Friday, 26 September 2008.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities, IPLIDB,
will receive a Distribution of 245 cents per security payable as an ordinary
dividend payable on Monday, 29 September 2008. The last day to trade ("cum" the
distribution) in order to participate in the dividend will be Thursday, 18
September 2008.
IPLIDB Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividend from
the commencement of business on Friday, 19 September 2008, and the record date
will be Friday, 26 September 2008.
