VOLUNTARY CLARIFICATION ANNOUNCEMENT
In light of recent references to Coronation Capital Limited ("Corocap") that may
have resulted in confusion between itself and Coronation Fund Managers Limited,
we wish to clarify the following in the interest of our shareholders:
Coronation Fund Managers Limited is an independent asset manager listed on the
Johannesburg Stock Exchange, comprising amongst other international
subsidiaries, the following, 100% held, South African operating subsidiaries:
* Coronation Asset Management (Pty) Limited
* Coronation Management Company Limited
* Coronation Life Assurance Company Limited
* Coronation Investment Services Limited
Coronation Fund Managers Limited has no operational links with any of the
following companies:
* Coronation Investments and Trading Limited ("CIT")*
* Coronation Capital Limited ("CoroCap")
* Corovest Property Holdings Limited
* Corovest International Limited
*Coronation Investments and Trading Ltd is a minority shareholder in Coronation
Fund Managers Limited. Whilst both companies are chaired by Gavan Ryan, the two
entities have no operational links.
